Damn ever getting involved in this forum, all it's done is cost me money and put ideas to spend even more in my head.

I have been looking at various threads about CSL rep's etc and have come to the conclusion I would like new wheels and have had a search about at various Reps and OEM wheels, something about these just screams buy me at me, so then Ihad a bit of search about on old threads about Rim Width, Wheel Offsets etc, plus being a bit thick when it comes down to it on these things about the only thing I have come to a conclusion on is that I don't want too go wide, with respect to the guys who have 9.5" rims something just look right with the tyres, so I am thinking of keeping to a 8" ET47 front & 8.5" ET50 rear which I believe is the standard offset if I can get them in those offsets or as close as I can get.

What would be the impact of 19"s, over 18"s other than cost, on ride quality on non RFT's and the car in general, daft question but would the offset's remain the same regardless of diameter?

Hope this all makes sense.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated. :?

So no one has an opinion or advice, so I take by the silence then that there is no difference in ride quality between 18's & 19's. :fuelfire:

i would say that 19" non-RFT will ride far better than 18" with RFT......sorry thats all i have.

i'd agree - ride is better on 19's the but the lack of tramlining is a real bonus.

Been there. Had 18" with RFT's and now ride on 19"' with Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. Ride, better feedback from the road, lack of tramlining, improved looks on the car, it's all there is spades.

If you're looking for new wheels then your going to be dropping the RF's anyway so the question is which is better. 18" or 19"? IMO the 19" usually look better but those that have had both sizes in most cases will tell you that the 18" preform and ride better. I have never had 19" wheels so I can only comment upon what other have reported.
