Mine is on stock suspension so I’ll measure up later and post my findings.

Thanks for the very kind comments John - I’m absolutely smitten with her 😊

I love both the Imola red (I painted my rebodied 56 MG in that colour) and the blue. Of course I have a silver gray Z4M, but the M coupes are a bit thin on the ground not to take what you can get when you can get it.

This will give an indication of difference between OEM and H&R springs.

Looks so much better without the spoiler too

Agree

Will have to do a 2020 pics to show the new changes.

Got them adjusted to OEM spec and it looks great. It was 17mm lower at front and 15mm rear! IMG_20200425_153126_662.jpg
Maybe a mm or two lower at the front would be best but that can wait for corner weighting and alignment. Rides very well on these coilovers.

Just a comment on ride heights.

Racers set height to get maximum handling adhesion and they pay attention to things that affect that like bump steer. Street drivers usually adjust height so that (to them, at least) it 'looks cool', and damn the consequences to good handling. If that results in dragging across speed bumps or objectionable bump steer, they tend to ignore it.

There also seems to be a commonly held misconception that lower is automatically better as far as handling. I have adjusted the height on one of my race cars by almost an inch and the lap times were the same (within 0.5 seconds a lap) but the toe change at full bump was improved.

I tend to set my street cars at factory height and even at that, you have to watch out for bumps. It has a ground clearance of 5". The Z4M has a clearance (IIRC) of just over 4" - to the shield under the engine i believe. Lower = probably not a really good idea. And no good reason - the black car in the post above mine looks perfect!
