Just wondering if anyone has ever used any kind of spacer/shims to increase ride height a little tad?
I believe that H&R lowering springs lower the car by 35mm, compared to the Eibachs which only lower to 30mm. I'm currently running the 35mm H&R springs on 19 inch wheels, and I find the front end far too low. The H&R are a bit stiff to my liking so I was thinking of changing to Eibach 30mm springs on the front only.
I'm not sure if its going to be a good idea forking out cash on brand new springs just for a 5mm height increase, so I came across another thread on here (can't remember where it is now!) where a few members had used spacers/shims or thicker rubber spring pads on their shocks to get a little bit more height.
If anyone has done this, could they please kindly add the link to the part or the part number of the spacer.
Meanwhile, I have come across these:

^Don't know the thickness of these though...

I'd like something like this ^ but don't know if it will fit my car...
If I end up going with the first link (2.5mm washers), I would need to buy 2 for each side (to get a 5mm increase). So that would then mean I would have 3 washers on the struts either side (original struts already have one in place I believe). Will this be ok or will it affect handling?
Thanks.
