Measured the ride height of my E86 and the rear is higher than I understand it should be. Measuring from wheel arch to the lower rim I've got 610mm on the right side and 615mm on the left side (fronts also have a slightly lower right side). The car is a sport so believe the the rear height should be 588mm. I have just checked the rear springs and they have three dabs of blue paint on that confirms them as sport springs. I had hoped to find non sport springs as this would explain the ride height, but I am now confused as to why its riding so high.

Do you have 18" wheels and are you measuring it with 2x68kg at the seats, 14kg in the boot and full tank of fuel?
The difference between left and right should not be greater than 10mm.

Might be worth running it through a VIN checker to see if it came with Msport suspension.
