Noooooooooooo, Holly Fcuk this has been a bad year for celebs popping their clogs, they will having a hell of a party up top this year :cry: :cry:
 
Quo were the first live group I saw - Odeon Birmingham in the early '70s.

I suspect that he never expected to last that long, but still sad when the inevitable happens. :(

Imagine the jam session thats goin on up there now.... Bowie on vocals, prince, parfitt, glen frey on guitar, dale griffin on drums, leonard cohen backing vocals.
Then the aftershow comedy performace by ronnie corbett, victoria wood and caroline aherne...

Such a shame - just glad I finally got around to going to see the Quo in 2010.

They put on a fantastic performance which I will always remember. They seemed to be enjoying being there as much as the audience did!
 
Rip Rick Parrfitt indeed.....Also one of the first bands I saw live,and was a near enough animal event every December in Glasgow for many a year during the 80s.
My mate still goes every year without fail,and was missing Parrfitts presence,as he was our due to his shoulder injury.
