Hi Boys & Girls,

I finally can afford to get rid of my Bridgestone RFT and I am going for the GY F1, I have got a 58 reg 2.0L with staggered wheels, front :225/45/17 rear 255/40/17.

I am new to this so I have a couple of questions for the more experienced members :)

- When ordering the new tyres, should I keep the same sizes as the RFT ?
- Is it possible to use 18" or 19" on the same rims ? as I do like my rims ?
- And finally would the tyres pressure stays the same as RFT?

Many thanks.

1) yes, as keeps the speedo correct, some people have tweaked slightly
2) no, if 18" wheel it needs 18" rubber
3) in theory the car hasn't changed weight, so pressure is the same, but most seem to run a slightly lower pressure, 32/34 rings a bell but not sure.

Based on question 2, stick to the standard sizes
