RFT and TPMS

Just bought the car andThe TMPS light came on today. I went to the garage to check tyre pressures and found all to be correct!
I reset the TPMS and the light has not come back on. Anything to be concerned about?
I have also read about not using Run Flat Tyres, is this legal without a spare?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello

I had the same light, when it was freeezzzzing, i assume it was just as it was so cold and the car couldnt measure the preasure correct. I only turned my car on to turn it over and then turned it off. But when the temp got higher and I did take the car for a drive the light had gone out.

Also had my ABS, handbrake and traction light all on yellow as soon as I got off the sheet ice on my drive they all went off too.

As for the tyre get a can of tyre inflator in case of punctures and you will be fine

No legal requirement to carry a spare. :D

Sometimes the temperature change will trigger the warning light. Once you checked your tire pressure and all is well then all you need to do is reset it.

Novice, his and welcome to the Forum. A short bit in the Newbie section with some details of you and your Zed is always useful. Not sure what the law is in the the US but inn the UK it's OK to run without a spare even though you haven'yt got runflats on. The change from RFTs to conventional tyres on the Zed is well woth it - loads of threads on here about it.

As for the TPM light I have had it flash on but only when extremely cold, as Neil W, and a quick reset does the trick (but only after a quick pressure check on all tyres just to be safe)
