Revs randomly dropping?

Apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn't find anyone else with this exact issue.

While driving around between 1000-2000 rpm it will occasionally very briefly drop to around 800 for no apparent reason. It only happens once per half hour trip and revs go back almost instantly, but it's still annoying.

Does anyone know what the cause might be? It's a 2.5 auto if that's helpful.

Not sure, but it sounds as though the engine thinks you've taken your foot off, and dropped back to idle.
Electrickery in the throttle maybe?

I hate Electrickery
