Review SLK 350 vs E89 35i

You say that Ronk, but unless you want a 350, stay away, as I have driven it again, 150 miles today and it's a pain. The engine, wow, and a great sound too, but the rest is tat. Further moans, SLK should have a DCT and not an auto anymore. AMG alloys, with the AMG tab just look naff now and again, no parking sensors, no dipping mirrors, no USB/iPod socket, or Bluetooth Hi Fi....on a 40K plus car.....

Not a question of bad options ticking, but things you would hope were standard by now.....

I think you're right. My zed has most of the toys a fella could want and it would be bonkers to spend more to get less.
In reality all I would get is a badge.

I was down to an SLK and Z4 - had a test drive in the SLK went to adjust the seat height and the leaver came off in my hand. Turned to the salesman and then drove the car back to the garage. Not much more I could have done really.....

The Z is a much nicer car and the cabin feels prestigious compared to the SLK
