reversing sensors

Can anyone recommend a company in the south who could do a good job of retrospectively fitting reversing sensors? Has anyone else done this?

Not done it yet, but once i do get the chance to i think i'll go with these guys... http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/

they' have a database of approved installers, so i'm sure they'll have one near you.

yeah, i'll probably do the fronts too (OEM one is horrible - 2 sensors either side of the number plate holder). just needs time and more importantly money, but after fitting my hardtop reversing is much more dificult as i am not able to see the tip of the boot anymore. I have to lift myself from my seat to just about see it.

That looks quite good, tempted by a front and rear setup for my van: if you think parking a Z4's difficult, try reversing a 5.3m long VW Transporter van...

I think vans are a must.

It's not that difficult, but you never know what could be behind you that you can't see. if i remember correctly they quoted me around £150 for fitting. i'd need to check my home PC to confirm though.

Agree there! The rear's not actually too bad - just swing open the door and you can see where the back is roughly. But the front's a nightmare, it just disappears beyond the bottom edge of the windscreen.

At a cost of that I'd be tempted to fit it myself. Can't be too difficult removing the bumpers from a Z4 I'd have thought? I removed my previous car's rear bumper in 5mins or so (on purpose!), just a few screws and clips.

Eh, the rear I know that where the lip ends, my bumper is only a few inches past. Like others said, it's the front that is iffy.
