Reversing mirror

Does the passenger side door mirror on your cars tip down when you select reverse?

I have the fold up mirrors on my car and I've had this (reversing) feature on previous BMW's but I don't seem to have it on my Coupe. Is it broken or was it never there?
 
No curb side mirrors, I wish we did have it though. Probably the #1 feature I miss on the Z4. They cut a lot of corners unfortunately... some are for weight savings, things like curb side mirrors don't add weight though, so I dunno.
 
It's on the new E89's, are you sure it's not an option on the e86's ? Seems odd to drop it off the list when it was on most if not all the other models.
 
It does seem like a silly omission - as you say the weight/complexity penalty would have been tiny and the parts were all standard to other models. I think the Z4 would benefit from more than many models because you are so low and the rear is quite wide - and we particularly don't want any curbed alloys....

This could be an interesting mod.....
