Hi Everyone, I'm having a problem with the above. Fuse keeps blowing so I guess I have a short somewhere. Can anyone please tell me the location of the reversing light switch so I can start tracing the fault.

Locked your other thread, most posts don't go unanswered unless there is a good reason. In this case I just think there are only a few people that can help you and they haven't picked up on this thread yet.

Done a search and can't see anything previously. The location of the switch is number 15 below. Not sure how easy it is to get to it :idunno:

I had a similar problem on my previous car a 330ci. The fuse kept blowing and it took out the reversing light and the parking sensors as they were on the same fuse. The issue I had was where the cables ran through to the boot lid, the cables had bent and split overtime. That is the first thing I would check as it relatively easy to just pull back the shroud and take a look.

Thanks Wondermike.

Looks like a crawl underneath, if it's accessible I'll take some pictures.

Thinking about it, it may have been disturbed when the clutch was replaced as the box would have had to come out.

It's now fixed. The switch is exactly as shown in the picture posted by Wondermike and is very easy to access. However, the problem was the wire has been trapped between the gearbox and the engine, so it quickly went back to the garage where the clutch was fitted.
