Reversing light bulb stuck?

Hi all,

basic question but can't get my reversing bulb out to change it for an 18W LED :| Seems stuck fast.

Owners manual says "Applying light pressure, turn the bulb to the left" - tried several times but won't budge either clock/anti-clockwise and don't want to break the plastic of the holder...

Anyone any ideas?

btw, its a 2004 3.0 if that makes a difference...
