Revenge postings on MSN page?

You could literally these days, if so inclined publish a picture on social media of your worst enemy stating "watch out for this convicted pedo" and they would be pillored/attacked and worse without anyone checking the facts! If you did it from a fake account abroad its unlikely you would ever get caught and someone could end up seriously hurt or dead as a direct/indirect result of your actions

How about going finding the train manager, explaining the problem and giving him/her the issue to resolve? If it's not resolved to your satisfaction, then you have grounds to complain to the train company about the service received. Knee-jerking to plastering it all over social media says as much about the complainant as it does the mannerless pillocks she was complaining about. The day after, they still don't have any manners and she could be facing a civil suit - who's won?

If you'd bothered to read the ES article properly you'd have realised why they couldnt complain to the train staff.

I'd already seen the story in another paper, so didn't bother to read the ES version, however, I've yet to be on a train, however busy, that the staff didn't travel through at least once, or was so busy that you couldn't move around on either to go to the toilet, buffet car or get off! And yes, I realise she is disabled, but her friend - who is also described elsewhere as her 'carer' isn't. The guys involved are pathetic individuals, but two wrongs don't make a right.

Since when is it acceptable to publicly post this without permission and convict by social media? There is only one side of the story here, and I don't think this is right that it is allowed to be posted like this.

The example cited by PVR notwithstanding this is a big problem. An interesting read is "So You've Been Publicly Shamed by Jon Ronson". Peoples lives have been ruined by what PVR refers to as conviction by social media. No matter how heinous the charge that is leveled (and this example is pretty awful) The accused MUST be granted a right to defend their actions. This is the absolute basis of our justice system.

You should try my normal morning commuter train - 12 coaches (so maximum capacity) but for the last 40 mins it's crammed to the gills, impossible to move around on, buffet cars no longer exist (they don't hold enough people), forget about going to the toilet and, for the penultimate stop, people in the area near to the doors have to de-train to allow people standing in the aisles to get off.

For people in the South-East, commuting into and out of London is a very uncivilised experience....

Sounds horrific - with that and the property prices in the South East, I'm glad I live in the North.
