Returning zed owner

Hello all,

Well, after a few years in the wilderness I'm back to zed ownership with this:



I've had some interesting cars, XK8, MR2 GT Turbo, ST220, Z3 3.0, VX220 turbo stage 2, VX220 supercharged stage 2 and I currently have an R26 F1 Megane that I'll probably end up selling. I'm loving the Z4, it has plenty of power (just like my old Z3) but is refined as well. So Far I'm a very happy bunny, I love this car.

Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you guys in the coming months, I'm partial to track days and cruises. There is a BMW track day at Cadwell in May that I'll probably go to.

Welcome to the forum and back to Zed ownership. Liking your car history. Was the ST220 the Mondeo ST220? I had the ST TDCi and was on the STDriveRS forum for a while - I was always envious of the guys with the ST220s

I only bought the mondeo because I needed something practical. I was developing a house so should have got a van to be honest. The ST was a really good compromise, plenty of room to carry things and a very capable sports car. I always managed to fit plaster/paint/plywood etc etc either in it or on the roof rack.

Stuff being a van owner any way!

Ha ha. I remember when .org first appeared. It was almost forbidden to mention .org on .net. No one on .org seemed to care, part of the reason why it was my forum of choice at the time. Obviously owning a Z3 I didn't know about this forum. It seems quite friendly.
