It’s good to be back! I’ve been on this forum a few years ago when I had my first Z4 (Montego Blue 2.5i with cream interior, 2006 e85) - unfortunately, after 2 years of ownership, I was a little too keen on a round about and that car is no more
I then had a e46 330ci convertible (2002) for about a year which I sold when moving to London.
I didn’t plan to buy another car while still living here (after all, a car is not really necessary in Zone 3) but I have to confess that I really missed driving and just the opportunity to get out of the city into the country side. So last week I found the (to me) perfect Z4 and took the plunge. It’s a Montego Blue 2.5i with cream interior, 2006 e85 (you’ll notice the similarities with my first Z4...
) and I most certainly plan to take better care of this one. The car has good service history and only done 75000 miles, so there are only a few minor things that need to be done in the coming few months. I went on my first big drive yesterday to the South Downs and I’m already in love again
