Just saying hello yet again. I bought a 2.5 in 2016, the first picture. It went well until the upper steering rack played up. At that time it was an expensive fix so I converted it to a hydraulic system. I fell out of love with the car and sold her on. Then followed a succession of MX5s and then finally an SLK. The SLK was a beautiful car, however, it was more suited to the motorway than B roads. But I always hankered after another Maldive Blue Z4 so last week, history repeated itself and I bought another Z4 and sold the SLK. This time I will try to keep it. As for my old car, last year it became an insurance write-off, Cat S, PL03 WJD, but was fixed and is now back on the road once more after covering well over 70000 miles. I should have perhaps kept it!
