Retrofitting bluetooth

Dear All,

I have just sourced a 11th Gen ULF from ebay.

I was wondering whether any people who have carried out this mod in the past can help me with what I need to order from bimmernav.

My car is not prewired and I presume does not have DSP.

What option do I need to select with regards to the DSP box? My car is a 10/2003 2.5SE

wow.. ur making lots of topics.

if you have the presets in the menus, you have dsp. it should then be pretty clear from the bimmernav site what you need =)
 
Sorry what do you mean by presets in the menus?

What is a preset (if thats not a stupid question) and which menus? I dont have sat nav.....

ohhh sorry.. dont know if you can pick DSP without the NAV and if so, how you'd see it. Someone else might be able to help! =)
 
Just finished mine today and you will need the standard Z4 retrofit kit from Bimmernav less ULF

You are best to call to talk to Martin or Mason at Bimmer nav as much depends on if you want or use a cradle or not, where you want the mike (top of screen or column mount), etc.

Aside all they mention you will need a new rear firewall carpet £45 ish from BMW Germany unless oyurs has the large bulge built in. See my separate thread on fitting it, carpet and problems
