Retrofit Storage Compartment & auto dim rear view

Only just seen this thread and it's got me a bit confused now. My car does not have the extended storage pack, but does have that miniature glove box. As it was about a year old when I got it, with one previous lady owner, I doubt it would have been retro-fitted?

The things you take for granted (I keep my keys in there, saves damaging any of the trim), its too small for my mobile

Just a word of warning. I regularly leave mine open and when I get out, it hits my leg! I do like it, but its also annoying!

Don’t know, perhaps it was an option on its own at some point.

+1

I leave my garage remote in there and have knocked my knee on it a couple of time cause of not closing it firmly and it jumps open. Quite painful.

Photos not in order, right pita on a phone to organise!

Can you confirm the part number?
I can’t quite make it out on the picture!

Firstly, yes, I would do it again.

So, this is the page on realoem with these parts:
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=LL32-EUR-09-2011-E89-BMW-Z4_20i&diagId=51_7305

For some reason, the images shown are for left hand drive car, but I did select right hand drive in the menu, so hoping its just the wrong image and not part number.

The numbers in BOLD are the actual parts and the numbers in circles are the screws.

You need:

Part 2, which in coral red is part number: 51459192330

Part 6, again in coral red is part number: 51459189663

and four fillister head screws (number 8 in a circle): 07147122390

I got the screws from a BMW dealer but the other bits from a seller online, think it might have been through ebay, it was a breakers yard I think, not a private individual. I think I just googled the part numbers.

I saw this one, I am after a coral red version.

I appreciate the heads up though!
