Retrofit seats

I've just purchased some leather manual seats out of a 2003 2.5 to fit in my 2005 2.2 to replace the cloth ones in that
However the connectors for the seats are totally different, my car has big yellow connectors, the passenger one especially has quite a few wires but the replacement seats have a black one with just two wires.
Is there a wiring diagram anywhere to suss out which is which I'm assuming passenger occupancy, seat belt etc

It sounds like its one of the plugs that goes in the yellow connector. If you have a good look at your yellow connector you should see the same black plug going into it, you just need to swap them over. If your struggling still post a pic of what you have it will make things a bit easier for us to see exactly what you've got.

Really straight forward! First things first, make sure you unplug the battery. Leave it 15-30mins.

Take the seat out, 4 bolts one on each corner. The seat should unclip from that yellow thing. The yellow thing (I'm 90% sure) is connected to the seat belt. So I assume you'll have to put that from your car onto the new seats.

There's a black bit behind the yellow connector block that will slide off and then you've got multiple connectors which sit inside the yellow block.

Just take a note of what goes where slot everything back in (on the new seat) and then replace the black bit which holds all the cables into the yellow block. Seat should now clip back into the car.

Make sure you connect it all up before you reconnect the battery! Been there before!!

Cheers guys
Must admit I haven't had a good look yet
The seats were just piled next to me in the car and noticed the black connector then

The yellow block is at the car end I believe - the black connector on the seats will sit into the yellow thing.

You need to slide the black plastic clasp across to release the seat wiring. Incredibly satisfying style of clip compared to yanking and wiggling like most other car connections!
