Retrofit- heated leather

Morning

First on the list to address once all other niggles are fixed- retrofit heated seats

Ive read a load of stuff on here and have retrofitted to E30's (plug and play) but... just wanted to check in anyone has experience of it?

2004 E85-

Assume its best to buy seats with the pads fitted from a breaker/fleabay?
I'll get the switches also- again assume plug and play
Do I need any other relays or similar?
Is a MOD needed for the passenger occupancy switch?

Anything else?

Welcome to the forum, the early Zed was pre wired for most add-on's, you maybe lucky, depending on when your car was built.

Yeah, but undo the battery and leave it for a while before you do, don't want the airbag light on. Don't touch the ignition while you have the seat out either.

Hey OP if you're at all interested I've got a set of standard black leather seats (heated and memory function) that I'd be happy to get rid of, if you wanted to go that route instead of pads via ebay. In great knick; I swapped them out with some M3 seats around a year ago so surplus to requirement now.

I’m up in Aberdeenshire; I’m betting that’s a fair distance from you - it’s a fair distance from anyone!

I’m happy to let them go for cheap - they’re sat in the workshop not being used and taking up space. Happy to look at courier prices if you’re interested.
