Retrofit DSP?

I had the DSP in my old Z and it was a pile of poo,
sounded shite :thumbsdown:

Me too, 08 plate Z4M with no nav but DSP. Terrible system.

Did yours not have nav either?


I had a 53 plate 3.0i, no nav, with 'Hi-Fi' before (no DSP but rear subs) and that was really quite a good system.

The older cars had fibre optic systems, the newer I believe are analogue.

No Nav in mine.
Have the Hi-Fi set up in my Z now, so much better than the DSP
"farty" system if not as loud

Its not worth retrofitting just put a new system in.

Thanks for the heads up, I will look for a car with Hi-Fi but not DSP in that case!
