Retro-fitting on pre-facelift cars

Does anyone have a link to a full list of what retro-fits are ‘pre-wired’ on the original E85?

I’m sure I’ve read that the looms for heated/electric seats are all in place but what else?

I’m thinking about multi-function wheel, phone kit, cruise control in the main..

Many thanks

I may be wrong but I thought early E85s were pre-wired for all the options. I know people on here have found the wiring in place for cruise.

But I think it's only 2003 and some 2004 cars that were made like that.

Yes, I’m pretty sure I’ve read that the looms are all in place on pre-facelift for heated & electric seats… just wondered if there was a full list anywhere. Considering buying a bit of a project car, but it’s really basic spec.

I have a 2005 pre facelift and the looms definitely don’t include everything pre-wired. But with wds at hand some wiring can be added by yourself, e.g. I had heated seats and added the electric seat wiring from the fuse box. Some members on this forum have wired the seat heating.

My 04 2.2i has the loom in place for the cruise, plus another white plug beside it that no-one has been able to help me with.
It also didn't have any foot-well lights, but I found the cut-outs were there and the looms tucked away behind them.
Also, not exactly answering the query, but I have discovered that the basic interior light by the mirror can be swapped straight over for the fancier one with the map-reading lights.

My 04 3.0i has looms for seat heating & cruise so they were just plug & play. Not sure but I think cars built post October 04 don't have the full looms fitted but I can't be 100% on that.
I also retrofitted a multi function steering wheel but had to add a single wire that runs from the steering wheel to the rear of the light control module. I think you can buy this single wire retrofit kit from the stealers but it's a simple affair so I just bought the connectors and made my own.
I don't know of any definitive list but some Zeds don't have auto headlights, auto wipers & auto rear view dipping mirror for instance, but I wouldn't know if the looms existed for those :? . Perhaps they do but you'd have to fit the sensor system at the top of the windscreen above the rear view mirror & that could be a bit of a challenge imho. I've not read of anyone doing that on here. Happy to be corrected though :).

Supporting what everyone has said so far- I’ve read that pre oct 04 build cars had full looms in place

I retrofitted heated memory seats like Dave and they were plug and play. On the old E30 the loom was present but things like fuses, relays and control boxes etc weren’t
