Retrim standard seats...

I'm not into stumping up for the much nicer sports / M seats at the price they go for and the bolster is looking a tad flat on my black cloth standard seats so thinking a retrim. Wouldn't mind a colour change to a hard wearing Red cloth like the Recaro's and there's a place near me that is roughly £300 for both to be done.

Anyone retained standard seats? I'm rather retrim mine and have new looking fresh trim than second hand leather ones for £200 ish.
 
I think only JE has had is seat retrimmed. Most would get the M Sports seats. A bit of a spruce up and they would look like new. Keep your old seats and you could always sell the M Sport ones on later to recoup.

Personally I wouldn't chuck money at standard Sport seats.
 
as above, after having a coupe with sports seats & coming to a roaster with leather non-sport seats they are shocking, feel like sitting on a deckchair! bite the bullet & go for propper sports seats - you wont regret it.
