I am on my penultimate day of working in my current job, sadly not retiring but it is a great feeling knowing I have some time off with no red Blackberry message light blinking at me constantly

Do something mad and impetuous, then get blind drunk and steal a traffic sign is my advice

Got a great pension, don't need to worry about working unless choose to, pretty lucky I guess when you look at whats happening to pensions lately.

Nothing else yet, but when I told everyone I was leaving I got a few interesting responses that could bear fruit if I want / need them to. At least one offer of potential short term contract work back it he company I am leaving. So I am about as chilled as I can be without being at retirement age with a mahoosive bank balance to pay for all the fun.
