Respraying your M

Ooh, not sure about the metallic wrap for me however I have seen a beautiful Lambo in a mirror finish purple...

I wouldn't know how to do that I'm affraid but I have seen the following finish in the flesh on a new M5 and must say it looked surprisingly fancy!

A mixed bag of opinions on effecting future value...

If you were to pick a colour/s that you felt would suit the M, what would you go for? I think it would be nice to see a pearlescent white, always admired the TVR paint work in various forms, bright metallics and pearls in general I think would suit or as I'm a fan of metal flake done right then that could make it look like a cracker.
The thing about TVRs is that having them resprayed doesn't seem to affect their value. I suspect this is down to them being a manufacturer who would spray the car pretty much any colour new if you were prepared to pay for it. Plus the legendary on-limit handling also resulted in a lot of them being resprayed, and mine ended up crazing the paint from shutting the boot too vigorously...

matte black, here you can see the local company in vancouver, bc, canada that did the job; status lab.

here is a video of them doing the work;

I don't mean to offend a few people here but the Z4 is the type of car that needs a "strong" colour.

I would get silver for my work runner so I don't have to clean it as much but not on a Z4. Every other car on the road is silver.

To my embarrassment, I do like the metallic wraps :P

I would change the colour of mine, but would only ever wrap it not paint it. Remove wrap and detail prior to selling and no problems* whatsoever. :thumbsup: (*provided the wrap hasnt damaged weak paintwork)
