Respray

Got the Zed back from the sprayers 2 weeks ago after going in for a full Respray. Found a couple of small issues over the 2 weeks we have had it back, so i popped it back in today for them to rectify the issues i had found. Really impressed with the quality of work.
I also decided to have it full debadged
I also replaced the radio for a Pioneer Head Unit.

Looks fantastic, almost identical colour to mine which i'm picking up from a full hit respray this afternoon. just gutted it cant be waxed for 4-6 weeks!

I had them put a Ceramic coating on so i dont need to bother with Wax for about a year
Had it done in its original colour Ruby Black and they have got the pealescent spot on

If its as good as ours you will be very pleased.
One note is make sure you get some light on it and inspect every panel. We looked at each panel with a high powered torch and then said we would take it even though we spotted a run at the edge of the bonnet so i could properly inspect it in the sun as that will pick out any in perfections

I was looking at getting the same Pioneer head unit, how do you find it?

Also glistens in the sunshine. Could you give me the model and make of the head unit in your Zed. Is it a pop up screen cheers.

The unit is a Pioneer SPH-10BT.
I am still learning with it but so far so good, i have the Nextbase Alexa enabled Dashcam and so far it all works together quite well. Tested it out on Saturday and when driving along i can just ask Alexa to play any track i want from my Amazon Music account and also just tell it to call someone.
I have lost the Steering control (which i dont use) but you can get a different ISO Adapter to incorporate these.
Got mine from Halfords and the guy told me i needed an ISO that was over £100 to keep the parking sensors working and needed to cut the red wire and connect it to the Accessory switch. But this was a load of bollocks as when i metered the wires they had correct voltages in the positions i needed and also my sensors still work.
It was literally just a case of plug and play
I am yet to try the Navigation side, hopefully i will try this at the weekend. I use Myroute app to plan my trips and this is linked to the Sygic App which i have set as the Pioneer default Navigation App

It all sounds very complicated to an old fart like me,thats why my alexa dashcam is still in the box .

Had the car done at Custom Paintwerx Derby. I had the front end done 2 years ago but they fooked it up and I got fed up of taking it back to be sorted so decided to get it all done once I had saved up. Now 2.5k lighter in the wallet lol
