Respray in white or a wrap?

Why do some of you call it "recession white"?

Cos since the recession everyone's been buying white cars

Wasn't white always a no cost option with cars in the 90's along with red blue and black?

forget a BBK imo... utter waste of money.... unless your tracking or REALLy driving this car hard spend the money elsewhere....

Would prob be better to upgrade to the 3.0si brake setup?

I only once cooked my brakes on my 2.0 and that was trying to keep as close to Lucy barbers arse as possible...it was a rather nice one tho...

That blue you wrapped yours in Tommy is stunning  I always wanted a white z but now I'm thinking half the cars on the road are white these days :? Difficult choice

It always used to be a no-cost option, but never used to be a colour of choice. In the 80s, a car dealer friend of my father told me the colour was known as 12-week white because they were so unpopular, they used to hang around on the forecourt for months

I'd respray it white but I'm a little biased. :-)

White cars used to be bought in bulk by fleet managers, so if you drove a white car, it was assumed to be a company car you were driving.
Flat black used to be an optional extra, but not as expensive as metallic.
Anyway back to arses :telloff:

that is much nicer in the creamy white than the bog standard glacier whites currently in vogue.

jonny, go for something bold, in a wrap, white is passe nowadays.

how about burberry?

Personally I wouldn't bother. All the reasons covered before.

You'd be better off putting that money into a decent air suspension kit and really work on that show car stance. (But that's just my £0.02 if I had a few grand to burn)

I wouldn't get recession white if you're gonna blow good money on a painting a car with a good paintjob already.

but if you do get it done then get some rare/special colour done on it and not crappy alpine white.... problem is that red roof doesn't really go with much

Whites just WHITE??

Easier to just by a better newer car

I've had a play in PhotoShop to see what my car would look like in white but I'm afraid it just doesn't do it for me - looks like it's been primed and waiting for the colour coat
