Hi, being very picky but looking to get front end, bonnet and sides redone - any suggestions for a high quality place in / around Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Chester?

Also need to get 1 alloy repaired - Chipsaway refurb'd just 2 months ago and now laquer coming away. Also did a terrible touch up job on a few stone chips - clowns...

Cant help with the bodyshop, but for your wheels try www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk there's one in Erdington B24, not quite sure where that is in relation to you, but the companies got a good rep, I use the one in north London and have never been let down and they guarantee their work for 12 months.
 
If you dont mind travelling a little then Colourkit in thurmaston / Leics are outstanding at vehicle paintwork / refinishing. As already mentioned with regards to the wheels, the wheel specialist are excellent. Ive recommended a number of happy clients to them. All have been bowled over by the end results.
