Resignations

I'm starting to feel embarrassed for this country, especially watching Farage's performance at the EU Parliament today, utter t0$$er, like a boasting public schoolboy saying I told you so  I enjoyed Junkers comment to him asking him why have you bothered to turn up, we don't want you here

Tim.

I've just seen that on the news , he's doing no one any favours shouting his mouth off like that . He's riding on a wave of self importance at the moment , hopefully he'll shoot himself in the foot good and proper soon and disappear .

He may be but hes not one of our Politicians which is what I find so cringeworthy for this country, were making ourselves look fools across the world now.

Tim.

I wonder how long it will be before those in charge ie big business find some reason why the referendum vote is invalid

Aren't you missing the point of the EU, Tim? Junkers may not be from this country but he is one of 'ours' because he's the EU Commission President - if anything he's worse than most other politicians because he wasn't elected by the public...

I think thats a matter of opinion, hes not one of our home grown politicians who has gone to a European Parliament and made us look berks and shamed this country, I take your point about Junckers but this is different.

Tim.

Fact is they hold the cards and riling them just isn't good politics! Wait until after a deal is struck if you feel the need but as Tim has said it just looks bad on us all. It's not a playground and if you want to score points then be clever and make your points better than the opposition.

To be blunt the public have told the EU to f*** off and that cnut turns up winding them all up and scoring points like a 6 year old.

And Boris is going to turn up looking for the best deal for the UK in 3 month time - Assuming of course Boris has the balls to stand.

That's going to go really well :headbang: .

If they have sense, they chose Theresa - she looks the best of the rest for the job.

Thank goodness that clown is not standing! I can only think of one worse potential candidate to consider standing as the leader of a country and that is Vladimir Franz in the Czech Republic in 2013.

Boris: We must leave the EU !
Cameron: Okay sunshine, here you go.
Boris: Errr, well, errr, let's not be hasty.

Glad he's not standing though, what a prat.

Historically, favourites have often not won battles to be the next Tory leader. Perhaps Energy minister and Conservative leadership candidate Andrea Leadsom could be the dark horse who springs a surprise this time; she came over well in the debates for the Leave side.

I'm seeing a pattern with recent resignations:

David Cameron – Posh
Chris Evans – Ginger
Roy Hodgson – Sporty
Boris Johnson – Baby
Nigel Farage – Scary

:D

Hopefully the Spice Girls' manager looks something like Jeremy Corbyn.
