I need the technical names of the BMW engines IE S54 etc suggested with its stock bhp if its a good engine to tune up further?

Wikipedia is a good start for that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Z4

Lists what engines the Z4 came with and their respective power outputs.

This is what I was on about before JE, easy to tune and probably a lot easier to fit as it's fitted to cars that also had the N52 engine that's shared with the E85. Get a good Indy to put it in, turn up the wick then it'll be bye bye s///mug drivers :poke:
The only reason BMW didn't put this engine in the E85 is because it would have been faster than the M.

Ewazix has a good point JE, it might be a good idea to prep just by getting the cash in place for these things. if you change the engine then you may change the weight so need a different poundage in the springs. so might be a better idea to get the cash in place and then once the new engine (3.0 supercharged, V8, V10, merlin spitfire engine ??) is in place get the car corner weighted and decide from there.

maybe you've thought about it already but i would bet that the spring rate for a 2.0 is less than that for a 3.0.

its something i never considered till i built the westy and was told about it.
