Replacing the RFT's

I'm contemplating replacing the run-flats on my 05. I've got 17" factory alloys, and I was wondering what some of you guys would recommend on types of performance tires that would be good to replace my currents with. I've read of many people doing this and enjoying the ride quality and handling much better. Is there any downfall whatsoever to replacing the run-flats, or problems that it may cause? I want to keep the stock alloys I have as well, no after-market rims.

The biggest downfall will be to your wallet to pay for all the gas you will use while you find new levels of enjoyment driving your Z4. :driving:

As much as this thought may horrify some I find myself enjoying supporting OPEC one apex at a time. :crazydude:

Ya, you're screwed if you get a flat just like the rest of us that replaced them..

Trust me you won't be....I just put falkens on my stock 17s in february. I'd NEVER go back to rfts. Blows my mind that they let the cars ship with RFTs considering how much better handling and comfortable the car is without them.

I concur, you will LOVE the Falken 452's. I love em, Shipkiller loves em, pretty much everyone who tries em love em!
