Replacing front sidelights

Now, I've done a lot of work on my last car removing and installing various items from cam covers to suspension, intercoolers, electronic gauges, boost controllers etc, but bu**er me I can't replace two poxy little side light bulbs in the zed!

Stupidly designed system means that it's impossible to see where the sidelight fixes to the headlight unit from behind, without removing the wheels. This wouldn't be a problem but I don't have my jack with me at the moment. I can get the headlight unit off by turning the wheels, but still can't see anything.

Can anyone help to guide me to where I need to look for the bulb holder before I pull my hair out?

Thanks :)

Once you have the cover off even with the wheel on it's a simple task to reach inside the lamp unit and pull the bulb out in its holder. By 'feel' it's just below the bulb holder for the main beam. The holder is a simple push fit.

If you think that's tough wait until you have an indicator go as they'r eset into deep sockets on stalks:(

I just did this - am glad its just a push fit tbh.

I have a question tho, when you push the new bulb back should it be a tight secure fit or should there be a bit of play in it?

I found that the bulbs wobble around pretty easily if you touch the back of the plug once re-installed... :?

They are a very good right fit. When dully located the bulb will protrude into the housing
