Replacing Door Membrane 2004 Z4

I have been swapping over my door cards and seats today and as always on my Z4, one job leads to another. The membrane on the passenger side is in A1 condition, the drivers side has been hacked to bits. On Tuesday I will be ordering a replacement, not sure if they also sell the adhesive or not. Does anybody on here know If I will hav eto remove the airbag to do this? I will be disconnecting the battery just in case.
 
Yes, you will have to remove the airbag - I did a write up here on adding speakers and sound deadening but it also shows you how to remove the door membrane
