Afternoon all,
I'm in need of 4 dampers (all 4 corners) & I know this question has been asked plenty times prior & the answer is always Bilstein B12 Pro.
However - I currently have these fitted & have been since 2017.
In 2019 the front dampers started to fail, however due to other priorities (house purchase and reno) I have left them be.
In recent months the rears are now completely shot.. to the point where there's pretty much no gas & oil in them.
I'm thinking I could replace with like-for-like - however, I'm not impressed with the lifespan of these dampers (apart from this they were great)
So I am open to suggestions to which dampers to use on my Coupe - I don't want coil-overs as the springs are still good, just looking for potential alternatives that people have had experience with.
I can see Koni do some which are a little more pricey than the B8 dampers, however stock seems to be an issue.
Looking on usual sites, there's not really any choice other than Bilstein.. so have people fit E46 parts to a Coupe for greater choice?
Cheers,
Dan
