Hey guys, i need a replacement 3rd brake light for my 2006 2.5 si zed as the black seal around mine has come away. Prefer the look of the red to the clear. Can anyone please advise me on where i can order one from as ive searched everywhere online with not much luck. Many thanks in advance

Bought a clear from there last week great service. Not many aftermarket suppliers sell them so best bet is main dealer

Me too. Mark at Sopers is a top man. Just bought an iphone cradle from him too.

Thanks guys, bought one from there today, £65 delivered, great service :D just have to work out how to fit it now! should the old springs and washers work ok or will i need to get new ones?

I bought one from Sopers today as well - very pleasant to deal with. Literally every other call they take must be for a Z4 3rd brake light.

lol. Nice pic of your zed by the way, exact same model, age and colour as mine. will try and get some pics up as soon as i can figure out how to do it :D

I got the springs, as apparently the original ones were the cause of a lot of cracked lights....

Do it. Amazed you got away with joining and not posting pics in the first place!

Just hit 55k in mine... I can feel the £s literally flying off it as I drive.

Easy fix. You'll need 8mm deep socket piece and a cross head screw driver. Three access holes behind the light to get to the nuts. Put a sheet down in your boot to prevent any rolling away when you unscrew them! You'll also need to open the little access panel next to the back of light to unplug it's lead.

Don't over tighten the new brake light as this will prevent it cracking. Good luck!

There was a service bulletin back in 2004. I think it had to do with changing the tension springs and nuts. If you loosen them a tad, you won't have any problems.

If you replace the red one with a clear one are there any bulb changes required? or is it just plug and play?
