Replacement M exhaust - thoughts?

I have been thinking for a while about replacing the OEM exhausts, what is the preferred route for aftermarket pipes?

I saw a clip of the BCS exhausts and they seem to sound lovely, an enhancement of the current exhaust with an audible shout, does anyone have any experience of these? I am really trying to avoid a drone / boomy soundtrack.

Any help / thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

Not sure if you have done a forum search but this could be worth a read https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=76562&hilit=bcs+backboxes
Since the initial sport / prestige choice they now only offer the one option which i had fitted on my last MR currently now owned by Rally .
A good few other owners also have them too .
What i can say is i highly doubt any disappointment in any department with them & if you are tempted save yourself a wedge of cash & take a virtually new set off "mpm" https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=105287

A real steal imo , they are well worth the money

Ive got a pain of Stromung backoxes, they sound really good!
Dont be put off reviews stating they are too loud or droning, the intial drone between 1600-2000rpm fades as they soot up, after 300 miles with them fitted its nigh on disappeared.
Plus they pop and bang on the overrun! :)

Can’t wait for mine to arrive now! Plus they fill the bumper aperture better than the stock IMO

What's that, 700 bhp in total?

Not sure if still sold new, but KKS Performance catback with button controlled valve. Understood it was really pricey but it's good quality, full titanium, and possibly quite a bit lighter than stock too.

But the main reason for it is in open mode it's like having no back mufflers at all and nearing the redline gets you the naturally aspirated sound from hell :-)

Also when lifting off throttle it's like a thunderstorm is coming with some really heavy bass. Way better than the artificial make-believe pops and bangs of most modern cars.

Just remember to only open it when it's empty around because it's really that loud.

It's a cliché but the video doesn't do it justice compared to real life (not my vid) :
