Replacement headlight gasket

Hi guys,

The headlights on my Zed are steaming up abit in the rain/cold. I'm going to try and re seat the foam gasket, however if that doesn't work which part do I need to order? Is it number 7 on this diagram?...

It's listed as the headlight cover, but from what I gather this includes the gasket aswell?

Thanks. :)

Thats correct fraser, you order the entire rear cover and the gasket comes with it. About £10+vat from what I remember.

Tip - When removing the rear light cover, turn the wheels outward. I spend ages trying to work with minimal space before the dusty old 15w light bulb went off in my head and adjusted the steering! Replacement once you've removed the old one and your light is completely dry and as arid as can be, of course! And make sure the seal is completely correct too. Any nips or tucks will allow moisture in again.

Mine had this and it was truly awful...http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16795&start=15

Good luck!

Thanks for that inkey$ :).

Chris how much do you want for them? Are they brand new? Do the new seals just swap onto the old units? No glueing etc.

Cheers guys.

They are new, and were with my set of new headlight, but i drilled the old casings and had to buy new ones  And yes just pull out and stick these in basically.

£8 the pair posted if your interested
