Something I'm looking at too, pioneer 3400 nex seems to be taking my fancy.
But when it's flipped out (basically all the time) it will be in front of the vents.
Alternatively you could look at the Pioneer SPH-EVO62DAB-UNI which is a fixed screen so could be set in the middle?
