Replacement front wings.

My passenger side front wing has a couple of dents in which would be difficult to pull out, so think I need another front wing. Problem is, they hardly ever appear on ebay without dents or in the correct colour.

Has anybody bought and fitted one of these pattern part front wings? If so, what was the fit like? I don't want gaping shutlines.

If they're no good, does anybody have an idea on the approximate cost of a replacement front wing from BMW? I assume they come primed so would need to add the cost of painting on top.
 
Have you tried any of the part search sites?

I picked up a used wing in the right colour for £160. This would be the most cost effective way, but colour match might be harder with SG.

I'm sure somebody on here had patterned wings fitted, for some reason or other I think it was Jonny Essex.

I would still go used and get it painted as worst case. You have no idea what metal they used and if it's been galvanised or not.
 
I used one of those parts search websites years back and my card details ended up getting cloned, so that's a no go, unfortunately.

Seen a few guys breaking Z4's, but all the grey ones appear to have smashed in n/s front wings. Must be a common issue :lol:

Ideally I just want a straight wing in any colour, at a reasonable price that I can pick up to ensure there's no damage on collection or in transit.
 
What about painless dent removal ? You may be surprised at what they can do. I use The Dent Man in St.Helens. Dave has worked absolute miracles on three of my cars over the last few years.
 
Unfortunately one of the dents has caused a crease. I'll take a photo tomorrow, but I think it's safe to say it's past that stage :(
