Replacement battery

I need to buy a replacement battery for my M as its not maintaining a charge even overnight. It has gradually being getting worse over a period of time, mostly due, i think, to the fact that I drive it so infrequently. Does anyone have any advice on which is a good heavy duty replacement?

Hi Lucy.

I had the same trouble with mine. I went for the Bosch Silver top (086?) as a replacement and now hook the car up to a CTEK XS3600 battery charger/maintainer and have had no trouble since.
I'd seriously consider getting a battery maintainer of you can as these cars seem to eat batteries when left a little while.

Hi Lucy, my business supplies batteries I will get you a price if you want on a couple of options, I have just fitted a Banner battery in my e92. Banner is the factory fitted manufacturer and has a good warranty. Thanks, Robert.

Just ordered the same but stupidly put my home address as delivery (which they say they can't change). Oh well, have to see what "Yodel" do when they try to deliver it.
