Been searching for a while for a 2 seater sports car , had bought a 2005 Boxster 2.7 with 60k on the clock but after agreeing the price with the sales manager , his boss decided to put the price up by 2k . Test drove another but they seemed a bit delicate with Brake fluid changes every year & major and minor services every year it just didnt feel speciail enough .
Last week I saw a Z4 3.0i sdrive advertised on the net , 42000 miles , full dealer history in Grey , from a local BMW dealer all I can say is awsome . I will post some pictures when I have it cleaned !
Now looking for some winter wheels ?

Congratulations OP.

The N52 engines are great - is yours manual or auto BTW?

Looking forward to the photos.

Hi manual , I tried a Boxster auto and wasn't impressed , trying to find an auto with navy was impossible, although I do prefer a manual with this much get up and go .

Congrats! The E89 3.0i would be my choice, but seem to be very difficult to find here :(
Looking forward to pics when you can oblige...

Yes it is Space grey , black Kansas leather , 294 18" , sports heated seats , cruise control with brake function , electric folding mirrors , loud speaker upgrade , auto lights , grey shade band , brushed aluminium trim , extended storage , pdc front and rear , USB interface , enhanced Bluetooth .
The car is almost mint with only one scratch on the drivers door 1/2" that's all , soft close boot , hardtop opens with both keys .
The sun came out today briefly showing all of the cars amazing lines , I am so pleased that I purchased this instead of the Boxster , it looks 2 years old not 8 but see for yourselves tomorrow if I can remember we're I put the came !

Looks good! My first E89 was in space grey and I've always thought it to be a colour that accentuates the lines of the car really well. You've just got to wait for it to stop raining and you can get some top down motoring in :driving:

You gotta love a space grey Zed! Thats a cracking car with a great engine, just need some 19" 326's to finish it off nicely

Hi i have been looking at some 326 wheels but a lot of reports of cracking must be the runflats ? would it be better to fit none runflats if I manage to get a set ?
The car is on 18" dunlop sport maxx none runflats which it rides superb on !

Yes, fit normal tyres & give the rims an easier time of it

I do like them, thought you said it didn’t feel special enough though?
Rob

Hi Rob , the first couple I drove didnt feel special , this one has been well looked after just had a major service , 12 months mot & 6 months warranty .
I had to give the Z4 back as the BMW dealer had lied & said it had been serviced by them ( was done by Halfords they had reset everything ) my local dealer pulled it up that it wasnt a BMW service they couldnt argue , the diff was needing replaced and because I hadnt had the car long enough they wouldnt honour the warranty . dealer said that I had broken the diff driving 65 miles home .
The Porsche drives great plenty of power , steering feel amazing I suppose it is how they are treat as t how they drive .
regards
Steven

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. The diff was broken, so the dealer took the car back and gave you your money back? If so, good result.
But you also said the dealer claimed you hadn't had the car long enough (for what?), and that they wouldn't honour the warranty (why not?).
Cheers.
Boxster is a lovely colour.

Looking to get my old Z4 E89 back any ideas where it might be reg YB09XNA ? it was sold by Lloyds South Lakes , current owner had it up for sale last year but I dont think it sold .
