Folks
I have had the steering column replaced as the EPS had failed - fitted and coded - but now the steering is light and twitchy - I have all the kit to program - could this me the steering angle sensor?? - would a calibration fix this? - want to sell the car as my wife is pregnant and getting in and out of the car is an issue!! - but not with this fault! - any info would be greatly received - Many thanks

I think your right with recalibrating the steering angle sensor, I have seen that this needs doing even if you have the steering and geo aligned so very possible that your repairs could need the same :)

What's the mileage on your car?
When the change the steering column they may not have changed the knuckle that connects it to the steering rack; if this has been excessively worn your wheels may feel like they have a life of their own, as the excess play in that knuckle will allow them to move by themselves more than they should, making it twitchy. This also causes tramlining.
