replaced rear springs

replaced the two broken rear springs on the mc, been out for a couple of runs and it definately feels a bit more compliant ,a bit less noisy and a bit less crashy, we're not talking transformation here but i think the springs must have been broken ever since i got it as it is imo a bit better. 60 quid for springs with only 5ish k on them against 360 for new ones fitted at the indy. a great result and interim cure until i go for kw, v3 . bought them from a really nice guy in notts who does loads of track days, very interesting and knowledgable person to chat to. :driving: :thumbsup:
 
Yeah it's a subtle thing when a rear spring snaps. Glad it's sorted.

I too am considering coilovers, although unlikely to be kw.

There were two broken springs on the rear of my first Z when I got it, never noticed and it was picked up at the first service in my ownership. Luckily it was a company car because in total the service cost £1,200 :o

Totally transformed the ride when they were fixed, even though it was 'just' a 54 plate 2.5i :driving:
