Replaced Number Plate Bulbs BUT... (PICS)

Hi, i have just replaced my number plate bulbs and now both units seem extremely loose in the bumper... has anyone else ever experienced this... none of the clips are warped or broken... am i missing a trick here... thanks in advance
 
I had to bend my clips to tighten them up after i removed mine.

I had exactly the same issue after replacing mine for led bulbs at the weekend.
I removed them again, bent the metal clips out a bit, then re-inserted. - A lot better.
 
I have tried bending the clips up and down and replacing the unit into the bumper but they are still very loose...

Can any of you recommend as to what way the clip should be positioned before inserting them back. I have attached a few photos of how they look now... thanks in advance

The clip needs to be bent back down - this picture may help

Yep the clip needs to be almost horizontal to make it secure.

Thanks all... i thought i bent it that way to begin with and i thought it was even looser... will try it again tonite... thanks ;)
 
How the he** can I get them of?
Should I push the left light to the left (against the center of the car) and pull down at the same time, or what?
 
There is a little slit where a screwdriver will fit in, That is where you push the clip in and then use your fingers to pull it down and out.

Have a look at my post where I show what the clips are like.
 
Be careful as the metal clip has a habit of pinging off and disappearing inside your bumper. Had to secure one of mine with a small screw.

I really do not know. Had bulbs mounted on my "Winter car", which was bought with them mounted.
