Replace Rims & tire problems

Hi guys,

I would like to exchange my rims from 17" to 18", the new rim setting is 18x8.5 +35 offset, the problems are below:

I want to install front 8.5J and rear 9.5J rims, but the tire shop said Z4(E85) the rear wheel space can't fit 9.5J, 8.5J is the maximum, so that they recommand the front & rear rims should be 18x8.5J+35, and the tires for front can be 225/40/18, rear can be 255/35/18.

Are these setting is correct? what is the perfect setting for our Z4?

Thanks mate!
Best Regards,
Leo

I have 9.5x19 rear wheels on my car, with ET45 rear offset; no problems with the fitting at all.

I have 19'' wheels, 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears with a 35 offset on both and they fit perfectly.
You may have a slight problem if you lowered it but even that is unlikely.

Thank you so much.
Its great information.
I won't low down my car actually, then its shouldn't have any problems.
Thanks again.

Thanks everybody.
I have changed my rims finally.
The finall factor as below:
F: 18x8.5j+35 + michelin 225/40/18
R: 18x8.5j+35 + michelin 255/30/18
The shop try to help and put 9.5j for the rear, but its beyond to much.
So that I give up finally.....
I will ipload some pics later on.
Thank you very much.

But I have another question for my brake right now, please see my new post.
