Replace or fix front bumper? (Perhaps M bumper?)

I've just bought a Z, but it has a dent on the bottom of the front bumper, in the middle. He reckons it'd cost £250 to heat it up, and form it back to normal. Now I'm worried, as I paid over the odds for the car anyway, as I love it, but this is extra cost...

So, what would you do? How easy is it to replace with an M bumper? (It has the washers) Do you think I could get it resolved any cheaper? Or should I just leave it, as I will inevitably hit it at some point with it being so low..?

Pics would help

Im not sure about removal via heating up - somebody will advise, but like i said - a pic will help us advise

Have you got protected no claims insurance? Might be cheaper to claim that way and pay excess - then it might even get resprayed (should it need it!) :)

Congrats on the purchase Iain, blue 3.0Si i assume?

Pics are a good idea, how much does it stand out really?

I'll get some pics up ASAP, but haven't quite picked it up yet. Get it Saturday. It's not very noticable at all, but I'm a perfectionist. It's either that, or leave it til I (inevitably) scratch it anyway.

You can very easily replace the bumper with a different style. They are all interchangeable. Just go like for like with washer jets. ///M would need deletion of the foglights and fitting brake ducts to, but not hard.

Price sounds too much - that's about right for a full repair and respray and a specialist. If it's low then perhaps a smart repair for £50 or so as it may not be obvious.

As said photos so we can judge the location and extent of damage
