Replace dashboard leather?

About to replace my Z4 with another but it has yellow leather on the dashboard which I really don't like. The old one has aluminium although I'd be happy with piano black.

Is it easy to remove leather and add piano black?

I would say its the same method to remove the dashtrim whatever the finish

takes about 10mins to remove the two sections of the dashtrim, but takes a good hour to remove the center console trim

plenty of guides if you do a search

I would say allow half a day for the whole job if you have never done it before. Once youve done it though the times above are about right.

Have to agree, the first time will take up to half a day. The center vent and single retainer clip of the long dash trim are the most challenging ones to address.
