Z Zeefour Member Maryland Sep 10, 2007 #2 Are you referring to the fresh air ventilation filter that filters air coming into the car? if so its located in the glove box area, you remove a few screws and a panel to get to it. Someone may have more detailed info on how to replace it 8)

G GVfB Member Belgium Sep 10, 2007 #4 the charcoal one is 2 EUR more expensive Just remove the panel above the passengers footwell (2 screws) and unclip the filter from the housing. Retail about 30 EUR... BMW charges about 100 EUR.
