Repair to side skirt

Hi, new owner here. Just bought a crash damaged e89 35i at auction and slowly removing and listing the parts needed to fix it up. It had front side damage:

Have already replaced the wing and got replacement wheel arch trim. Bonnet is on the way. However, when removing the wheel arch trim noticed that the screw on the bottom right had broken away from the side sill and thus the connector in the side sill had snapped.

Is there a way to repair this in a similar fashion to headlight repair kits?

It is supposed to look like this:

I am finding this forum so helpful and learning lots.

Many thanks for any help.

Can’t you drill another hole to the side of the broken part then line it up with the other part and drill through that as well and self tap it

Thanks for the reply.

There is meant to be c-clip to inside of the broken lug to accept the screw from the outside of the wheel arch trim. Maybe I could plastic weld some plastic and stick the c-clip to it. It looks like the c-clip clips over the lug

Get a new one from ebay / the scrappy?

Can't imagine it will cost a fortune.
That is an option. Currently looking at @ £75 - £90 but have already spent more than I should have!
